Hi, I’m Ashly!

I believe people are self-driven towards growth through intentions, choices, and relationships. I am passionate about helping others become exactly who they want to be. I offer an inviting space where we can work together towards your goals, whatever they may be.

I grew up in Minnesota but frequently visited family here in Bozeman over the years. After being dazzled by mountains rather than lakes, I pursued my M.A. in psychology at the University of Montana and have called Bozeman my home for 3 years now. When I’m not studying I can be found baking, reading, sewing, drawing, or doing any variety of crafting.

I became a counselor because it is the thing that brings me the most joy. I love learning how certain pieces fit together in people and how that can be utilized to help them grow. Personal growth has been a huge part of my own journey and I want to be able to be with others as they grow too. What I'm enjoying most about my graduate program is learning all the different theories and how they can be used together to view problems in a unique way. I also like learning how others in my group think and what is most important to them when it comes to counseling.

I am a Graduate Student Intern at Bozeman Counseling Center and I am pursuing my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Capella University. I am supervised by Kathryn Bowen, LCPC, and Stephanie Bulluss, LCPC who are licensed as counselors by the State of Montana.
