Maybe you've made it here because you feel stuck and unsure of what to do next. Or maybe you can analyze your emotions all day long and tell yourself what you "should" do but have trouble breaking patterns. Perhaps you're wondering if therapy can even help. You're not alone, and you're exactly who I love working with. I'm a good fit for individuals who want more than just a listening ear (though you'll find plenty of that as well!). Together, we'll work towards shifts you can actually feel in your body and notice in your daily life.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Registered Yoga Teacher (and practicing yogi of 16 years!) I am uniquely positioned to support you in connecting your brain's intellect with your body's intuition. My therapeutic approach is evidence-based and varied; drawing from modalities including EFT, DBT, IFS, CBT, and ACT. I blend these modern psychotherapy techniques with ancient practices of yoga (which does not have to include physical yoga postures) to help you move towards your goals with clarity. As your therapist, I will support you through your current stressors and also help you develop tools to help you ride life's waves for years to come. You can expect a therapy experience that is down-to-earth and filled with wholehearted human connection.
I graduated with my Masters of Science in Social Work with a focus in Evidence-Based Interpersonal Practice from the University of Tennessee in 2022. I have experience working with individuals with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, self-esteem, technology addiction, body image issues, chronic illness, sexuality/identity exploration, and more.
