Gabrielle Herron-Tammetta, MS, PCLC
Welcome!
Hi, I’m Gabrielle!
I’m a trained EMDR clinician with a straightforward style, a sharp sense of humor, and a deep respect for the healing process. I’m not here to nod and "uh-huh" you through your sessions, I’m here to help you get unstuck. If you've done talk therapy before and feel like you’ve been there-done-that and hit a wall, we might be a good fit.
I use EMDR not just to process trauma, but to gain insight, interrupt old patterns, and reconnect you to your own internal resources. I love watching clients move from “just surviving” to understanding their story in a whole new way and finally feeling the shift, not just talking about it.
My work is grounded in a trauma-informed existential lens, and I incorporate elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to support clients in cultivating self-compassion, awareness, emotional regulation, and lasting change.
As a Bozeman local, I bring a little mountain grit, a lot of heart, and an intuitive, arts-loving, slightly woo-woo edge to the work. I blend the science of trauma therapy with a deep trust in the wisdom of the nervous system and I believe healing doesn’t have to be sterile or stuffy to be effective.
This space isn’t for everyone. It’s for the folks who are ready to go deeper, challenge themselves, and maybe laugh through the hard stuff while doing real, measurable work.
I graduated from Montana State University with a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling. I am a PCLC, and as required by the State of Montana, am under the supervision of Emily Grills, LCPC and Kathryn Bowen, LCPC.
If you are interested in EMDR therapy and if you think my approach may be a good fit for you, please feel free to reach out and mention that you would like to schedule with me.
