Rachel Coffin, MS, PCLC

Hi, I’m Rachel!

Person with long curly hair in a black top standing in front of green shrubs.

I feel deeply honored to walk alongside my clients on their journeys toward healing and growth. Therapy can be challenging, but I know that it becomes more manageable with someone by your side, offering encouragement, understanding, and support.

My goal is to create a space where you feel truly seen, valued, and safe to explore anything on your mind. Together, we’ll balance being realistic about life’s difficulties with remaining hopeful and future-oriented. I take a person-centered approach, focusing on your strengths, interests, and unique experiences to help you build an authentic and fulfilling life. I also incorporate mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral techniques, and creative elements to make therapy both grounding and personal.

I have a master's degree in mental health counseling and am licensed by the state of Montana as a Professional Counselor Licensure Candidate (PCLC). I am under the supervision of Kathryn Bowen, LCPC, and Emily Grills LCPC who are licensed as counselors in the State of Montana. As at part of Bozeman Counseling Center, I love growing alongside the wonderful team here and love continuing my training and experience to better serve my clients.

I’m grateful to have grown up in Bozeman, where I’ve found joy and grounding in the beauty of nature. When I’m not at BCC, I love making food, creating music, spending time with friends, and traveling to explore new places. Whether I’m reading a new book or spending time outside with my horse, I’m reminded of the power of meaningful connections and the joy they bring to life.

To me, therapy is a collaborative and reflective partnership that focuses on practical growth and creating space for joy, even during challenging times. I look forward to meeting you and supporting you on your journey!
